Windows detects Office Sp1 Update to be installed in the windows update even when it isn't installed. Any wonder why? I will try the cleaner software now. Will let you know. Post Reply. Well at least it worked for me. I copied all the files from my DVD to a folder on my hard drive and I was able to successfully install it from there.

Also if you are trying to install a version obtained from -- we don't do that on this forum do we or trying to mess around with keygen's etc then I'm not sorry it doesn't work. Are you using W7 build ?
However Office is such an important product for Microsoft -- especially in the corporate area -- I find it really strange that there is a problem with this. However try downloading a trial version from the MS site -- if this installs then just update it with your version and activate with your product key.

I imported my account just like I have done when moving to other computers, and it just will not download the workspaces. On startup I have recieved message that Firewall was blocking and do I want Groove to fix, Click yes and it still doesn't work. I have disabled the Firewall and tried that as well and it still doesn't work. Tried vista compatibility mode and getting error everytime.
Seems related to. Some days ago, I had exactly this problem and the only way to fix this problem was uninstalling and reinstalling Office. To uninstall Office, use FixIt :. Delete all files skip any that you're not allowed to or that are in use ; you can also use something like CCleaner for this.
